Australian Climate Policy and its place in the World Economy

 

Martijn Wilder is Head of Baker & McKenzie's Global Environmental Markets practice. He is also a Board Member of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, WWF (Australia), Chair of the NSW Climate Change Council, and an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Australian National University.


Martijn will provide an overview of Australia’s policy framework on climate change, its history, success and failings and where to next. He will also talk on the way in which other countries are addressing climate change and the role that new technologies and global financial institutions are playing.

 

Henrietta Rose Room, Bowral Library on Friday 22nd August 2014 at 7pm.

Refreshments will be available prior to the meeting at 6.30pm
