My brothers and sisters
What an inspiring and uplifting experience we enjoyed by the graciousness of God.
This morning there have been so many calls to the Cathedral Office offering congratulations for the initiative and for running the successful event – a first!
Everyone contributed and went that step further to ensure that the Community BBQ would be memorable and would make that statement: we want to build upon the peace and harmony in the Illawarra and beyond and; all people of good will want peace. Thank you to everyone for their part in the initiative – those who played small roles and those who contributed great roles.
The feedback from people who participated in the evening – including our federal members and Lord Mayor – was only positive.
Anthony Field from the Advertiser called me for a telephone interview.
Brett Hagelstein from Saint Brigid’s has posted photographs on line:

Gary and i need to get together to write some thankyou notes and certificates.
See you all on 4th Dec at 8pm at Amity College for our review and discussion on executive group and a charter and, gathering ideas for 2015.
May God be praised
