What is Catholic Social Teaching? What is the recent Social Justice Statement? How should we act in light of these?
Sean Donovan will facilitate a workshop on Catholic Social Teaching and the Catholic Bishops' Social Justice Statement "For Those Who've Come Across the Sea".
Featuring part presentation and part activities to learn about this important area of Catholic Church life, this workshop will help you in the process from seeing an issue to practical action.
Jesus calls us to open ourselves to God’s love, and to love our neighbour as ourselves. In practical terms, and in social terms, this means defending human dignity and human rights, working for justice and peace, and safeguarding creation.
Whether you are new to Catholic Social Teaching or wish to refresh and reflect on you existing knowledge and performance then you will gain fresh insights from this workshop.
